Intergraph® Process, Power & Marine (PP&M), part of Hexagon and the world’s leading provider of engineering and productivity solutions to the process, power and marine industries, has wrapped up a successful CloudShow 2016 event series in Thailand (Bangkok), Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur), Japan (Yokohama), Singapore, Korea (Seoul and Geoje), and Indonesia (Jakarta).
This inaugural event introduced managers, engineers and IT professionals working on the design and operations of plants and facilities to Intergraph’s new SmartPlant® Cloud adoption program, aptly named Cloud Advantage.
Attendees representing leading owner operators and EPCs across Asia Pacific gained best practices in making a successful transition to working in a cloud environment to maximize benefits. They also had the opportunity to test drive SmartPlant Cloud, a tailored computing environment allowing users access to extensive project data at any time on any device from any place around the world.
Franz Kufner, executive vice president of Intergraph PP&M Asia Pacific, said the success of this event demonstrates that more and more of our customers want to transition their mission critical applications to the cloud.
“SmartPlant Cloud brings the suite of SmartPlant Enterprise, third-party solutions and in-house applications all within easy reach. It offers a number of benefits for both owner operators and EPCs, focusing on efficiency in capital projects design, execution, and plant operation and maintenance.
“Cloud Advantage, Intergraph’s structured adoption framework, is designed to help our customers get the most out of our SmartPlant Cloud environment on an ongoing basis.”
