The May 2017 issue of Japan's ENN (Engineering Network) magazine features the latest release of CADWorx and that it is now offered on two platforms, AutoCAD and BricsCAD.
The article highlights how Intergraph's new version of CADWorx Plant, a 3D CAD solution in the company’s Intergraph CADWorx & Analysis Solutions product line, allows users to select either BricsCAD, developed by Belgium-based Bricsys, or traditional AutoCAD, as the engine powering the software.
From the magazine: "As an AutoCAD-based 3D design solution, CADWorx Plant has been used in various construction and engineering markets around the world. Its latest release, CADWorx Plant 2017 adds support for BricsCAD, in addition to the existing AutoCAD compatibility. Going forward, users can opt to use either as the engine behind CADWorx Plant. Intergraph carried out testing of BricsCAD and CADWorx Plant for a year before launching this new version in April 2017.”
