Achieving excellence in project execution is no longer an option in the uncertain oil and gas market. In order to face such challenges Ecopetrol – the primary integrated energy company in Colombia and one of the largest companies in Latin America – has launched an ambitious digital transformation initiative, “Smart EDP.” Through a cloud-based integrated project execution, Smart EDP is designed to change the way Ecopetrol and its project-related ecosystem work together. This session highlights the expected outcomes and key challenges in Ecopetrol’s planning and execution of Smart EDP.
