Webinar - Timezone: CDT
13 December, 10:00 AM - 13 December, 11:00 AM
As a technology company with many engineers on staff, we always recommend a lean workflow - not reproducing work that's already been done, and as such have provided tools for the structural engineer to leverage a CAD model for their analysis whether that model comes from CADWorx, Intergraph Smart 3D, or a third party modeling program. This type of lean workflow saves engineering hours, reduces errors in manual transcription of information, and in some cases allows for a fully interoperable workflow with change management.
However, we also understand that there's not always a CAD model available to be brought into analysis. Structural Engineers may be doing a what-if analysis on a FEED project, an initial feasibility study, or simply ahead of the design group.
In these cases, an engineer needs to build his analysis model in the most efficient and effective way to meet his analysis requirements. A typical structural engineering department has engineers of all ages, experience levels and preferences. Some may want to build their analysis models using modern CAD tools, a familiar graphical user interface, wizards, leveraging a text input file created manually or from Excel or even a combination of several of these methods.
Join us as we take an in depth look at the many ways engineers are able to build analysis models with GT STRUDL. You'll see modeling tools that are familiar, and some that are brand new!
We are offering a complimentary webinar session of 30 minutes followed by a 15-minute Q&A session:
