Catavolt Apps Have Big Impact in Construction Innovation

In May, Hexagon (which is Hexagon PPM's parent company) announced its acquisition of mobile app platform provider Catavolt. Founded in 2009 with headquarters in Atlanta, Ga., Catavolt offers an end-to-end platform for mobile application development and delivery, secure cloud orchestration, and edge computing (real-time).

In this video, Catavolt shows how its technology is successfully plugging into the interests of other Hexagon business divisions, including PPM's efforts in the construction industry.

Discover how contractor Corbins Electric has deployed 40 distinct Catavolt-created apps, allowing the company to track tools, materials, and efforts, all which support a leaner, more efficient process. And these apps can easily be modified by Corbins to perfectly align with its workflows.

Catavolt CEO George Mashini spent the last month visiting different regions (including six countries in five days!) on tour with the Hexagon PPM's Intergraph Smart Digital Asset (SDA) Roadshow. He shared the new capabilities of SDA Online and SDA Mobile, now powered by Catavolt. Highlights include meeting face-to face-with customers, gathering value insight on how new mobility features will improve the way they do business.
