Saudi Aramco, SNC-Lavalin to team on historic gas plant

Two of Intergraph's customers, Saudi Aramco and SNC-Lavalin, are in the news today announcing plans to construct the largest gas plant ever built in Saudi Arabia.

The new gas plant, the Wasit gas project, is expected to process more than 1.8 billion cubic feet per day (cfd) of gas. The plant will process all offshore non-associated dry gas. It is expected to help meet Saudi Arabia's rising annual gas demand growth of 7 percent. The plant, to be built in Moneefa, will consist of gas processing facilities, two offshore gas platforms, one tie-in platform, subsea power and communication links and pipelines.

SNC-Lavalin will provide the engineering, design and project management services for the project.
