Intergraph demonstrates joint interoperability and SPO at ISA Expo

The ISA Expo 2009 at the Reliant Center in Houston starts Tuesday, October 6, and runs through Thursday, October 8.

At this conference, Intergraph is participating in a joint interoperability demonstration under the auspices of MIMOSA (Machinery Information Management Open Systems Alliance) with several other vendors including IBM, Microsoft, and Rockwell Automation. The demonstration involves Intergraph’s SmartPlant Enterprise for Owner Operators (SPO) environment exchanging information created in SmartPlant design tools with third party operations and maintenance tools via ISO 15926 RDF XML files.  It will demonstrate the power of SmartPlant Enterprise integration and how it can be exploited to solve real world interoperability issues. It also underlines Intergraph’s capabilities and commitment to support important international standardization efforts such as ISO 15926 and MIMOSA.

Intergraph will also hold two special presentations in the theater of the Mimosa Expo area:

  • 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 7
  • 11:30 a.m. Thursday, October 8

The presentation, Reducing Costs and Risks across the Project Lifecycle, demonstrates the capabilities of SPO, including Intergraph’s market-leading, best-of-class design tools.

ISA attendees can find the Intergraph booth in the Mimosa Expo area.
